Description:
This lightweight, non pore clogging moisturiser hydrates, smooths skin and reduces wrinkles. It not only replaces the water lost from the skin but also prevents its loss to the surroundings while protecting the skin against the drying influences of the environment such as the effects of the sun, cold and heat.
Regular use of a suitable moisturiser benefits your skin. The moisturiser not only replaces the water lost from the skin but also prevents its loss to the surroundings. Like other organs in your body, your skin requires moisture as well as vitamins and minerals to keep it healthy and functioning properly. Moisture is critical for healthy skin; much of the moisture you need comes from within your body chemistry. Moisturisers do not moisturise, they smooth and soften your skin. Good moisturisers, containing light oils and moisture-binding humectants, create a protective barrier for your skin thus keeping moisture in the outermost layer without clogging pores. The skin’s moisturising requirements differs for each skin type and it is for this reason that Skinstitut offers three moisturisers to cater for all skin types.

Key Ingredients:
2.5% Synthetic Snake Venom (SNY®-AKE), Synthetic Tripeptide that mimics the effect of peptide found in the venom of the snake Temple Viper. The active part of the compound is Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate. This material is very effective against the appearance of mimic wrinkles: by temporary immobilisation of the facial contractions it smoothes out the appearance of mimic wrinkles and skin becomes more natural, younger and relaxed. It also reduces the appearance of wrinkle depth and size.
Purisoft; which is a natural peptide that possesses a dual activity: protection of skin against aggression by pollutant; purification of the skin by removing micro-particles coming from the environment.
Kakadu Plum Extract (extract from the fruit of native tree Terminalia Ferdinandiana). Fruit contains up to 4% Ascorbic Acid making it world’s richest source of Vitamin C that is very stable due to stabilisation by enzymatic system present in it. Vitamin C acts as a free radical scavenger, protects the skin from photo ageing, prevents irritation and acts as lightening agent. The extract is also rich in different minerals, amino acids, fruit acids and antioxidants.
Mountain harvest (mixed extracts from leaves and flowers of 3 native trees); Aniseed Myrtle (Anetholea Anisata); Mountain Pepper (Tasmannia Lanceolata) and Wild Rosella Flower (Hibiscus Sabdariffa). Actives from these plants are rich in essential oils that promote calming and rejuvenation; Proteins, Carbohydrates, Phytosterols, Hibiscin, Hisbiscic Acid and AHAs that help act as antioxidants.
Canadian Willowherb (extract from the plant Epilobium Angustifolium); natural skin calming agent; has very good free radical absorbing ability; very good anti microbial activity.
Softolive (Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables and Hydrogenated Ethylhexyl Olivate); olive based emollient with excellent penetration, good lubrication against dry skin feel; helps relieve skin roughness and dryness and restores its suppleness and flexibility.
Covitol 1100 (DL-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate); Vitamin E derivative has the same attribute as pure Vitamin E – acts as antioxidant, protecting skin from free radical amage and thus reducing the appearance of premature ageing.
Cosmoperine; a patented natural permeation enhancer from Black Pepper.
VitalHyal (Hyaluronic Acid Sodium Salt) shows all properties of pure Hyaluronic Acid; capability of binding water within its structure, formation of visco-elastic film on the skin surface, thus increasing lubricity, and smoothness on the surface of the skin, and providing excellent moisturisation.
Trehalose and Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein (trade name Trealix) is combination of actives from mushrooms and vegetable materials. It possesses excellent moisturising ability by linking more water to the skin cells.
Ethoxydiglycol (trade name Transcutol P); a very good solubiliser and penetrating agent and carrier for AHA.
Application:
Use as required, ideally every morning before application of sunscreen and night as a final step in your skincare regiment
